Quietaway grew out of my own experience. Time and again I spent hours looking for a place that actually matched what we needed at that moment. Sometimes friends and I were after quiet and complete privacy, other times what mattered was room for the wider family — a pool table, say, or space to spend time together. On work trips we needed reliable internet and a comfortable spot to get things done. So I started looking for a way to make picking such places easier for everyone else too. That is how Quietaway came about.
I pick the places on Quietaway personally. I go through every stay, checking its atmosphere, its amenities and who it genuinely suits. I don't want everything on the site. I want places I would recommend to my own friends or family.
