Terms and Conditions
Effective as of 31 July 2026
These terms govern use of the Quietaway service and purchase of access to our curated catalogue of stays. Please read them before you pay. By completing a purchase you agree to them.
1. Operator
The operator of Quietaway (also “we”, “Quietaway”, or “operator”) is:

2. What we offer
Quietaway is a digital service: a curated catalogue of stays (cabins, cottages, and similar places) with filters, descriptions, and owner contacts where that makes sense.
We sell catalogue access, not accommodation. Booking, stay price, cancellation, and the stay itself are between you and the host or the platform we link to (for example Airbnb or Booking). We are not a party to the accommodation contract.
3. Account
Paid catalogue access requires an account. You sign in by email via a one-time link (no password). You are responsible for providing a correct email. Accounts are non-transferable.
4. Pricing and products
We mainly offer:
- monthly subscription,
- yearly subscription,
- one-time lifetime access (including future catalogue updates while we operate the service).
Current prices are shown on the site before payment, in Czech koruna. If we are VAT-registered, prices include VAT; if not, we will state that in the payment confirmation or on the site.
Introductory or promotional prices may apply and are clearly labelled.
5. Contract and payment
The contract for the digital service is formed when you complete payment via Stripe. Before redirect to payment you must accept these terms and consent to immediate performance of the service (see section 8).
Payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
After successful payment we unlock access as soon as possible, usually immediately. You receive contract and payment confirmation by email from Stripe or from us.
6. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel in the Stripe customer portal (My access on the site) or email hello@quietaway.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Access continues until then. If a renewal payment fails, we may limit or end access.
7. What is and is not included
Included: browsing the catalogue under your plan, filters, favourites (where available), and owner contacts / links for unlocked places.
Not included: booking the stay, guaranteeing a date or host price, insurance, travel, or disputes between you and the host.
We update the catalogue over time. Place counts and update pace may vary. We curate carefully, but we cannot guarantee every description always matches the host’s reality. If you spot a clear error, tell us.
8. Withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer contracting at a distance, you generally have 14 days from conclusion to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to the exception below.
Immediate digital performance: we unlock the catalogue right after payment. If before payment you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw, the withdrawal right ends when the service is made available. We require that consent via an active checkbox before Stripe.
If you did not consent to immediate performance and we still unlocked the service, your withdrawal right remains. Email hello@quietaway.com. You may use the model form in the annex. We refund without undue delay and within 14 days using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.
After you cancel a subscription properly, further periods are not charged. Refunds of a period already paid follow the law and the facts (including whether you consented to immediate performance).
9. Complaints about the service
A service defect includes a lasting inability to access the catalogue caused by us, or a material mismatch with what we promised for your plan.
Email hello@quietaway.com with a description and your account email. We will fix the issue within a reasonable time or offer a discount, extended access, or a refund as appropriate under the law.
10. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by breach of our duties to the extent required by law. We are not liable for:
- hosts’ or third-party platforms’ conduct,
- outages of internet, devices, or third-party services outside our control,
- lost profits or indirect loss to the extent the law allows us to limit this for consumers.
Our aggregate liability related to a given order will not exceed the amount you paid for that plan in the last 12 months, unless the law provides otherwise (especially for personal injury or intent / gross negligence).
11. Intellectual property
Site content (texts, photos to the extent of our rights, taxonomy, interface) is protected. You may not bulk-download, scrape, or resell the catalogue as your own database without our written consent. Personal browsing for your own use is fine.

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.
13. Alternative dispute resolution
If you are a consumer, you may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), www.coi.cz, or use the EU ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

14. Governing law
These terms and the contract are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your habitual residence where required.
15. Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued paid access after the effective date means acceptance unless the law requires another process. For contracts already formed, the version in force at purchase applies unless agreed otherwise.
16. Final provisions
If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. Not exercising a right does not waive it for the future.
